What's New from Safe Harbors of the Finger Lakes

This summer Safe Harbors of the Finger Lakes will be hosting two separate Youth Leadership Workshops. The five day workshop for Ontario and Seneca County will be held in Geneva the week of August 2nd through the 6th. The five day workshop for Yates County will be held in Penn Yan the week of August 9th through the 13th. This workshop is for any students entering grades 9 through 12 in September of 2021, and those graduating this month.

Students will spend the five days learning skills to help navigate discussing healthy or unhealthy friendships/relationships, media influence, activism, and other topics relevant to what youth are facing today. Our goal is to train students to be able to co-facilitate groups with us in the upcoming school year. We will be providing breakfast, lunch, and snacks during the day. Safe Harbors will also be providing bus passes if needed.
