STEAM Summer Camp at FLCC
FLCC is again offering STEAM Summer Camps at our Campus Centers. We have added another, FLCC’s Muller Field Station!
July 10-14, STEAM in Motion, Victor Campus Center, 200 Victor Heights Parkway, off Route 251. This camp includes activities that explore scientific principles associated with motion.
July 17-21, STEAM in Our Community, Geneva Campus Center, 63 Pulteney St. Campers will explore STEAM concepts through collaborative, hands-on sessions, focusing on the natural resources in our community. Students will also learn about multimedia and computing sciences, drone technology, sustainable agriculture, and visit Cornell Agri-Tech.
July 24-28, STEAM in Space, Newark Campus Center, 1100 Technology Parkway, off Route 88. Topics include star charts, the 2024 total solar eclipse and engineering associated with the vehicles that travel in space.
July 31-Aug. 4, STEAM in Nature, Muller Field Station 6455 County Road 36, Canadice. Activities include observing and identifying wildlife, canoeing, gardening, and journaling about nature.
Each camp accommodates 15 campers (rising 7th, 8th, 9th graders). Camps run from 8:30 am to 3:00 pm each day of the camp week. $200 per camper, a limited number of need-based scholarships available. See attachments for more details.
