After School Sessions:

This week, March 1st thru March 5th, we will be offering the following after school at 4pm via zoom:

Tuesday – How to make your first big purchase? Buying a used car and applying for loans

(Presenter: Reliant Bank)

Wednesday – Social Media and the Real World (Presenter: Ontario ARC)

Thursday – What is Work Based Learning? Why should I participate? (Presenter: Wayne ARC)

If you have a student who is interested in attending any of the above listed events during after school, please let me know via email and I will send them the zoom link. If they are not registered for the program, we can discuss the process.

Edge Factor Presentations:

As March is Women’s History Month, we have the opportunity to feature STEAM careers through Edge Factor and the Wayne County Partnership. Each week we will pick a different career series under STEAM to share.

This week, we will be highlighting the following via zoom:

Thursday, March 4th – Health Careers (RN, CNA Physical Therapy & Dental Hygienist) (5:15pm)

If you have a student who is interested in attending the Edge Factor presentation, please let me know via email and I will send them the zoom link.

Parent University (March 18th at 7pm):

We will be hosting our next Parent University on Thursday, March 18th at 7pm. Our topic is “Fair Housing: Understanding Your Rights.” We will be focusing on sharing information to prevent housing discrimination based on race, gender, disability or other reasons which we will learn about. Please let me know if you would like to join. This session will be held via zoom.
