Canandaigua Parks and Recreation

Canandaigua has cabins, buildings and pavilions to rent for reunions, weddings, parties and other activities. They also have two swimming beaches, playgrounds, walking trails, disc golf as well as fields for soccer, softball, and other sports. Swimming is only permitted between Memorial Day and Labor Day when lifeguards are on duty.

John Brown Memorial Park

John Brown Memorial Park is a great place to blow off some extra energy during the day. The park features a playground for kids and a large pavilion for shade and gathering.

Sandy Bottom Beach (Summer Recreation Program), Richmond

Located at the north end of Honeoye Lake, this park has a picnic pavilion that is available to rent, boardwalk, playgrounds, softball field and offers fishing and swimming. Nature lovers can park at the north end of East Lake Road and walk across open grassland that connects to Sandy Bottom Park. Walking trails can also be accessed on Main Street, and at the north end of East Lake Road.

Town of Richmond Parks and Recreation

The Town of Richmond's Recreation Department offers a wide variety of activities open to residents in the Towns of Richmond, Bristol and Canadice. We also provide young adults in the community with opportunities for part time employment as recreation assistants.
