Community Building Activities
Boy Scouts
The Boy Scouts of America is one of our nation's largest and most prominent values-based youth development organizations, providing programs for young people that build character, trains them in the responsibilities of participating citizenship and develops personal fitness. For more than 100 years, Boy Scouts of America has helped build future leaders by combining educational activities and lifelong values with fun.

Scouting Programs
Cub Scouts: For children in Grades 1-5, Cub Scouting is the foundation of our organization and involves the whole family as parents pitch in to plan and deliver activities.
Boy Scouts: For youth 11-17 years old, this is the traditional Scouting experience. While there's guidance from experienced leaders, Boy Scouts take their own lead, exploring places they've never been as they dive into the rugged world of outdoor adventure.
Venturing: Venturing is a coed program for young adults ages 13 (and have completed the 8th grade) through 20. Venturing's motto, "Lead the Adventure," reminds Ventures to always pursue life in the spirit of adventure.
Girl Scouts
Girl Scouts are the preeminent leadership development organization for girls. And with programs from coast to coast and across the globe, Girl Scouts offers every girl a chance to practice a lifetime of leadership, adventure, and success. As a Girl Scout, girls will always be trying new things, and learning there’s hundreds of small, powerful ways you can take the lead every single day. They could build a robot, create their own work of art, or climb a wall in the great outdoors. Every time they try something new, they’ll discover that they can do more than they ever thought possible. Plus, they’ll have a ton of fun every step of the way. With Girl Scouts, there's a whole world of new opportunities and you-can-do-anything confidence waiting just for you!
4-H Club
If you are between the ages 5 and 19, or if you are an adult interested in working with youth, 4-H may be for you. 4-H is the youth development program of Cornell Cooperative Extension. Through hands-on learning, the 4-H Program creates supportive, fun learning environments that help youth and adult volunteers reach their fullest potential as capable, competent, and caring citizens. The 4-H Club is the learning environment that is most widely recognized, whether it is an organized group of youth and adult volunteers in a neighborhood or a group working with a special interest topic such as Animal Science or Community Service.
